L'Amoroso Ero: A collection of 17 4-part
madrigals and 1 5-part madrigal, by 18 Italian composers of the 16th century, all to the same text, a poem
in which the priestess Hero addresses her lover, Leander, as he swims the Hellespont to visit her. Composers
